What’s Changing
Redwood My Receipts provides a refreshed interface for creating, viewing, updating, and returning receipts in Oracle Financials. The functionality is similar to the classic version, but the page layout, search options, and navigation have changed. Users can access Redwood My Receipts from the Procure to Pay tab in Oracle Financials.
What You Can Do in Redwood My Receipts
Use Redwood My Receipts to:
| Task | Description |
|---|---|
| Create receipts | Receive goods or services for one or more purchase order lines. |
| View receipts | Search for and review receipts you created. |
| Update receipt quantities | Adjust quantities when appropriate. |
| Process returns | Return received items when needed. |
| Add attachments and notes | Include supporting documentation or comments with the receipt. |
Recommended Starting Point
When using Redwood My Receipts, departments are encouraged to organize the receipt page by PO number. This makes it easier to review receipt lines, identify related PO activity, and manage multi-line receipts. The new page includes filters for:
| Filter Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Purchase order details | PO number, PO line |
| Supplier information | Supplier name or supplier number |
| Requisition information | Requisition number |
| Project information | Project number |
| Receipt details | Entered by, date ranges, receipt information |
Key Differences from Classic My Receipts
| Redwood My Receipts Difference | What Users Should Know |
|---|---|
| Bulk receiving is more limited | Users cannot bulk-receive multiple lines in the same way as the classic version. |
| Receipts are user-specific | Users can only view receipts assigned to or created by their user access. |
| Column customization may not save permanently | Column changes may reset after closing the browser. |
| Notes may copy between receipts | This is a known issue. Users should review notes before submitting. |
| Freight tolerance lines may not appear in the receiving queue | Freight lines with 100% tolerance are not expected to appear for receiving. |
Known Limitations and Items Under Review
The following items are currently being reviewed or monitored:
| Item | Status |
|---|---|
| Ability for departments to view receipts created by other receivers | Enhancement request under review |
| Freight tolerance behavior | Additional clarification pending |
| Notes copying between receipts | Known issue |
| Column customization persistence | Known limitation |
