GENERAL LABORATORY SUPPLY: SYSTEM-WIDE CONTRACTS AVAILABLE IN THE eCATALOG SECTION OF UCR'S PROCUREMENT SYSTEM, eBUY

Awarded as a result of the UC competitive bid process. Primary and Co-Primary agreement are established with the supplier(s) considered to have the best combination of value and service and who obtains the most awarded quality points during the bid evaluation process. These suppliers will be recommended UC suppliers for the specific service or commodity type (at participating UC locations) for the life of the agreement.

The Purchasing Department of the University of California, Riverside has authorized Campus Transactors to purchase materials and/or services directly from these vendors in accordance with UCOP the agreement terms and conditions contained in the specific agreement.

Campus Transactors are NOT PERMITTED to purchase capital equipment. Only the University Purchasing Department may purchase capital equipment items. Capital Equipment is defined as a single item with a useful life of one year or longer (non-consumable) which costs $5,000.00 or more including tax.

SPECIAL NOTE: All vendors with a "PRIMARY" or "CO-PRIMARY" designation are considered equal in status. Campus end users and transactors should consider selecting from one of these sources before choosing another supplier. Selection of another supplier should be reserved for cases where no practical alternative is available from a competitively awarded contract source.
